 1. Make sure image verification is enabled in the preferences section. We install all our sites with this activated, if you have removed it, put it back on. 2. Ensure that only registered members can post in things like Forums, Chatbox and Comments (Preferably disable comments from all news posts). 3. Go to the Admin area, select 'Banlist' and add the following: *.ru This will ban all visitors with a Russian ISP. If all else fails then make all new sign ups to the site admin verified. |
