Hi Chewy,

Sub domains can be added from your hosting cpanel. Everything is explained on the set up page.

You need to point the sub domain at a folder on your ftp.

Eg: support.yourdomain points to yourdomain/support

Also, this is not instantly available, it can take up to 48 hours for the sub domain to propagate.

I have done all this one week ago, but my "Fifa" folder is not showing up in the public_html folder. But when I type fifa.nrk-gaming I get an error. When I type lol.nrk-gaming I enter site as normal (well, almost)

What am I doing wrong?
Cheers

The sub domain section explains everything.

You create a sub domain and a folder for the sub domain. The files for the sub domain website, forum, or whatever you want to use it for then go inside the sub domain folder.

HI Bessy, once you have created your subdomain and it shows in your ftp you essentially need to install a new cms like e107.

go to the e107 website and download 'e107 0.7.18 Full install (.zip)' make sure it is the full version and not update, unzip it and upload it to the subdomain folder through ftp

then i would reccomend following this tutorial video that i found to install it --> Clicky Me!

at least i think this is what you have to do !

good luck

this wont make sense now but i got stuck on final installation because it says "e107_banlist already exists" but i am raising a ticket so will post the outcome here

i managed to get this far let me know how you get on.

there should be a tutorial for this on the clanwebs site because if you are noob like me it is very difficult

I have considered this, but as you have discovered there is a lot of documentation on this on the e107 and other websites already.

Besides, we make our living from offering this service
