We use the e107 Content Management System for all of our installed sites. This provides you with a website straight out of the box, ready to use as soon as it is installed for you by us. e107 is a PHP and MySQL driven application and is extremely flexible, and simple to use. No knowledge of html, php, or MySQL is required. Everything is controlled through the web based admin panel.

If you would like e107 installed for free* onto your hosting account, all you need to do is remember to add the following information when you order:

1. Required admin name.
   
2. Required admin password.
   
3. Theme you would like.
   
4. Header/banner text.

Installation is usually within hours, but please allow up to 24 hours for installation to be completed depending on how busy we are. Custom themes can take anything from 7 to 10 days to make, but again depending on current workloads.

Part of the main attraction for using e107 is its flexibility when it comes to layout and the use of different themes. Most clans like to have their game of choice reflected in the style of their web site. This is easily achieved with the use of custom themes that can be applied to your web site through the administration area, and at ClanWebs we offer several theme options.

Managing your website could not be easier. Using the built-in web based adminstration area, you can manage every aspect of your website in real time. No need to take the website offline, just edit everything and see the changes instantly. You can add extra admins, and even restrict which areas they can gain access too. File integrity, permissions, adding and removing users, banning users, plus website security can all be controlled with a click of your mouse.

New features can be added to your website in just a few minutes. There are hundreds of plugins available for free and we install some of the most popular gaming related plugins for you. It's as simple as uploading a new plugin, and selecting 'Install' from the plugin manager. The plugin manager also alerts you when updates are available as well as developer information for each plugin. All installed, and available plugins that exist on your FTP are listed.

Website layout can be adjusted in the Menu Manager. Most plugins come with a menu of some description, you can also create custom menus easily to add your own content or code to. The menu manager also allows certain permissions to be set. For instance - which page/pages the menu will be shown on and by which user class can be controlled by setting a menu's visibility options. Menu's can also be moved to different areas of the page. Most themes allow for at least 4 different options - left, right, centre top, and centre bottom.

Can't find a plugin for your website, or want to add extra content pages to your website? This is easily accomplished in the custom pages/menus manager. Add your code, plain text or pre-formatted html document straight into the WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) editor. Everything from text size, font and colour can be controlled easily, as well as adding images, links and file links. You can even embed YouTube links easily with the pre-installed BB codes.

Once you have created your custom page you can link to it from other pages or add a link to the main site links bar. Custom menus can be added through the menu manager, and have the same options applied to them as any other menu.

The links shown in the site menu can be edited in the Site Links manager. Not only can you change the name of any link on your website, you can add links to custom pages and even external links to other websites and installations on your own domain. If the theme supports nested links, you can even have more than one option under each link heading. Other options include whether links are opened in the same window or a new window, and what size of window to open. Each link also has a visibility option so that links can be hidden from visitors, or links can only be seen by certain user classes.

User Classes are useful for restricting users to certain parts of your website. For example, you could create a class called Clan, then create a forum which only allowed users in the Clan user class to access it. User classes can be applied to most sections of your website. Plugins, menu visibility, custom pages, links, the list is endless. User classes can also be applied to members to give them access to admin functions on some plugins, and can also restrict who is allowed to use certain plugins apart from just being able to view them.

Users can be given different user classes depending on what type of user they are. Anyone who registers with your website will automatically be given the user class 'member'. Here you can also nominate additional site admins and forum moderators. Or simply add to more user classes to gain access to private areas of your website. Additional admins can be given different admin powers through the Administrators Manager. We recommend you only have one main admin with full admin rights.

Site Preferences is where the main configuration setting of the website are made. Everything from Admin contact details, security, cookie settings and Site information. As you get deeper into the options available, you will find that this section is the most important to set up correctly. Text rendering, as well as how links are displayed. Word wrap to limit the length of words as well as profanity filtering can all be configured from here. It is well worth spending some time in here fine tuning your website, it will make managing it easier than ever.

The beauty of e107 really comes alive with it's ability to let you change themes and give your website a whole new look with a click of your mouse. The Theme management are will allow you to see what themes you have available in the themes folder. Themes can be selected for both the admin area and public parts of the site. The in-built uploader allows you to upload compatible themes easily and apply them straight away. We supply over 100 Free, premium and Flash themes for e107, and also offer the chance to have themes custom built to your requirements.

We install your website with a fully functioning image gallery, random image plugin and the 'Lightbox' plugin as standard. Create individual galleries, and allow users to upload images (For admin approval) themselves. The gallery automatically creates thumbnail and preview images, Watermarking and image security is also able to be configured through the gallery admin area. Image settings can be set with regards to file sizes, image types that are allowed as well as auto sizing of large images.

Registered users of your website can apply to become Clan members using this handy little plugin. You can create custom attributes as well as use the extensive list that already exists. Applications are emailed directly to the admin responsible for managing the clan roster. If the applicant is successful, they can be added to the clan roster without having to add any of their information again. Applications can be sent to any email address, and this is easily configured, along with rules for recruitment etc.

There are quite a few roster plugins, but we still think this is the best one available. Create unlimited Ranks, teams, squads, and define your clan however you want. Any number of custom attributes can be created and added to the roster. it certainly isn't for the faint hearted. Take time to configure this correctly and it is just simply outstanding. We have provided a basic tutorial in our forums to help get you started, with some of the biggest hurdles covered to make configuration easy for anyone.

Although it is not designed as a full featured forum, the integrated forums with e107 provide more than enough functions to create a BB to rival most dedicated forum scripts. Create unlimited forum categories and forums, and sub forums. Limit access to forums by using user classes and visibility options. Users with moderator status can be added to the whole forum, or individual categories/forums. Integration means that the forum will be themed the same as the rest of your website, and accessed via the one login for users.

The donations plugin allows you to collect fees/payments from your Clan members to pay for such things as your website, servers and voice servers easily. You can display a required target amount, whether it be weekly,monthly, quarterly etc etc. You can also show which members have donated and how much their donation amount was. Easily configured by selecting currency, and adding the email address of the required Paypal account.

The medals plugin allows you to reward your clan members for their loyalty, dedication, or stupidity on the field of battle. Configure as many awards as you can think of, with over 100 medal ribbons available to choose from we are sure you will never run out. Additional images can be added easily,for those of you with a little knowledge of FTP. Awarded medals also show on the users profile page.

Allocate ranks to all your clan members with this nifty little plugin. As with the medals plugin, all assigned ranks will show in the users profile. Rank images are also shown in the forums. Use the pre installed rank images, or add your own via FTP. Add as many ranks as you wish, or copy the rank structure from the roster plugin to reflect each users position within the clan.

Use the rwar plugin to manage all aspects of your wars/match results. The plugin allows you to display war results on your website's homepage. Notify your members of upcoming matches by automatically emailing all users with the 'CLAN' user class.They can then select whether or not they are available to participate in the war details page. All upcoming events are also displayed in the calender for all members to see. Other Clans can also challenge you by filling out a challenge request that will be emailed to the specified war arranger.

By adding your Teamspeak/ Ventrillo server details into one of these plugins you can see at a glance who is online from the homepage of your site. Users can join your server directly from a link in the plugin (As long as security settings allow)

Choose from the amin area of your site which plugin you want to display. The site comes with Teamspeak added by default, but this is easily removed and replaced with the Ventrillo plugin.

Upload your videos of wars or demos to YouTube and add them to this great plugin. Have as many categories as you want, even allow users to upload their favourite clips (With admin approval). This also comes with a menu for the homepage of your website to show a random video. Users can also rate the videos by awarding stars to their favourites.
